Studio Philosophy

Welcome to KAVA Pilates. Our mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive, and high-quality fitness experience. With small classes and expert instructors, we provide a boutique fitness experience that provides results and community.

At KAVA, we believe Pilates is best taught in small, carefully structured classes where quality, safety, and individual attention come first. Our studio is intentionally designed with 7 reformers, 12 mat spaces, and 8 barre spots. We believe Reformer Pilates should remain in small group classes to ensure correct use of the equipment, thoughtful cueing, and meaningful instructor guidance throughout every class.

Our instructors are selected for their training, experience, and commitment to Pilates principles. Technique, alignment, breath, and control remain at the foundation of everything we teach.

We respect the method, the machines, and the bodies moving on them.

Safety, integrity, and intelligent progression are always our priority.

We offer a calm, sophisticated space - our studio is a place of connection, community, and balance.

Why KAVA?

KAVA was created to offer something different: a Pilates studio where teaching, intention, and community come first.

Classes are kept small to allow for meaningful individual guidance, proper use of the equipment, and a deeper understanding of the work. Rather than treating Pilates as just another workout, KAVA focuses on technique, progression, and long-term strength. The studio follows a clear progression-based approach, supported by structured internal levels and an upcoming client-facing leveling guide, so clients can build confidence and advance their practice safely over time.

From the quality of instruction to the considered aesthetic of the space, every detail reflects a premium experience rooted in care, clarity, and purpose.

What is Pilates?
